Hi, I'm Vista Cheng (鄭緯筌). I work in Traditional Chinese — writing books, columns, and teaching — and I have been doing it for thirty years.
My path is unusual. Most AI advisors come from a technical or consulting background. I come from writing. I started my career in software in 1997, moved into tech media as a reporter and editor in 2010, and have published twenty books across digital marketing, content strategy, AI applications, personal branding, writing craft, and solopreneur operations. In 2023, when generative AI arrived, I shifted all of my teaching and advisory work to focus on how writers and enterprises can use AI to amplify — not replace — human creative output.
Today I run four interconnected platforms. Three of them are in Chinese and serve the Taiwanese and greater Chinese-speaking audiences. What I work on
Writing. Books, columns, and a weekly newsletter (18,000+ subscribers), all in Traditional Chinese. My current book-in-progress is about designing AI-native content production systems for the modern publisher, writer, and brand.
Enterprise advisory. Through content.tw (Vista Content & Co.), I help Taiwanese mid-to-large companies operationalize AI inside their content workflows. Not tool training — process redesign, editorial judgment, brand safeguards. International engagements are possible; we can work in English, though content production deliverables will be in Chinese.
Solopreneur products. Through solo.tw, I run courses, workshops, and toolkits for freelancers, speakers, and independent consultants in the Chinese-speaking world.
Speaking. I deliver keynotes and workshops on AI content systems, writing in the AI era, enterprise AI literacy, and solopreneur operations. Primarily in Taiwan, with occasional international invitations.
A note on language
I read English fluently and can follow spoken English comfortably. My written and spoken output in English is AI-assisted. If you contact me in English, please keep things clear and specific — I will reply personally. For live meetings, I prefer either written asynchronous communication first, or bilingual settings.
